Selgate Corporation officially opened Selgate Specialist Hospital Rawang (SSH Rawang), its first flagship private healthcare facility in the Central Region.
To mark the occasion, the hospital is hosting SSH Rawang Opening Day from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., offering free basic health screenings, including BMI, blood pressure, and glucose tests for visitors throughout the week.
SSH Rawang has been developed to serve as a community-oriented specialist hospital, offering a range of services designed to bridge the gap between tertiary hospitals and local clinics. The new hospital will also serve as a model for upcoming facilities in Sepang and Setia Alam, both expected to open in 2026.
“The opening of Selgate Specialist Hospital Rawang represents an important step in enhancing healthcare access in Selangor,” said Miranda Harumal, Chief Executive Officer, Central Region, Selgate Group of Hospitals.
Located at Persiaran Anggun Ria, Sungai Bakau, SSH Rawang spans approximately 261,000 square feet and accommodates 224 beds. The hospital also provides over 500 parking bays across ground-level and multistorey parking areas for patient and visitor convenience.
SSH Rawang offers a comprehensive range of specialist and diagnostic services, including orthopaedics, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics, paediatric cardiology, ophthalmology, ENT, bariatric surgery, hand and microsurgery, general surgery, internal medicine, radiology, and anaesthesiology.
The facility’s design focuses on efficiency and accessibility, with digital systems that streamline appointments, admissions, and follow-ups through the Selangkah app, a digital health platform that facilitated vaccination scheduling, health monitoring, and clinic access during the pandemic.
Following SSH Rawang, Selgate plans to open Selgate Specialist Hospital Sepang and Selgate Specialist Hospital Setia Alam in 2026. The new facilities will extend Selgate’s healthcare network and support the Group’s efforts to strengthen Selangor’s overall health infrastructure. Through its Selcare network, the Group currently operates GP and dental clinics, diagnostic laboratories, pharmacies, and home nursing services.
