Ara Damansara Medical Centre (ADMC), together with Persatuan Penduduk Ara Impian, held a community wellness programme, Healthy Together – Caring for Our Community, offering free health screenings, wellness talks and hands-on training for local residents.
The outreach, held at Ara Impian, attracted residents of all ages who took part in activities aimed at raising awareness of preventive healthcare and timely access to medical services.

Free screenings were among the highlights, with participants receiving eye tests, blood glucose checks, uric acid assessments, clinical breast examinations and body composition tests. Nurses and trained staff were on hand to explain results, address health concerns and recommend follow-up care.
“This programme is about creating a space where residents feel encouraged to take charge of their wellbeing,” said ADMC Chief Executive Officer Linda Leong. “By offering screenings, informative talks and practical training, we hope to support healthier lifestyles for individuals and families.”
The event was officiated by Petaling Jaya MP YB Lee Chean Chung, Selangor State Executive Councillor YB Dr Fahmi Ngah, ADMC CEO Linda Leong, Persatuan Penduduk Ara Impian representative Lee Hann, and Dr Venkateswara Rao, Managing Director of Poliklinik Sri Prima Group.
YB Lee Chean Chung commended the initiative, stressing the importance of collaboration between healthcare providers and the community. “The health of a community begins with awareness, education and support,” he said.

Beyond free screenings, the programme also served as a platform to showcase ADMC’s services, including its 24-hour Emergency Department and specialist care offerings. Doctors, nurses and allied health staff engaged with residents throughout the morning, answering questions and sharing practical health advice.
The initiative reflects ADMC’s ongoing commitment to community healthcare, blending clinical support with education to encourage early detection of health risks and the adoption of sustainable lifestyle changes.
