Shell Malaysia has partnered with CARiNG Pharmacy to expand the range of products available at over 600 Shell SELECT convenience stores across Peninsular Malaysia. The collaboration aims to provide greater accessibility to basic healthcare products for customers on the move.
As part of the rollout, a dedicated health section stocked by CARiNG Pharmacy will offer a selection of over-the-counter medications such as pain relief, cold and flu remedies, and digestive aids. These will be available alongside Shell SELECT’s existing offerings, which include snacks, beverages, Shell Café coffee and baked goods, lubricants, EV charging facilities, and car care products.
Shell Malaysia says the partnership reflects an ongoing effort to enhance the role of its SELECT stores as convenient one-stop locations that cater to a broader range of everyday needs.
“With this partnership, Shell SELECT continues to evolve beyond a typical petrol station stop, aiming to meet more of our customers’ needs in a single location,” said Seow Lee Ming, General Manager of Mobility & Convenience at Shell Malaysia.
CARiNG Pharmacy’s Managing Director, Chong Yeow Siang, noted that the initiative aligns with the pharmacy chain’s long-standing goal of improving access to healthcare products. “Our collaboration with Shell allows us to serve more communities through Shell’s wide retail network, especially in areas where pharmacies may not be nearby,” he said.
The initiative is being rolled out across Shell SELECT outlets in phases and is expected to be fully operational at participating locations nationwide in the coming months.
